John WALKER was born in 1781 in Kildrummy where he became a farmer with four acres of land. In 1821 he baptised a son in the nearby parish of Auchindoir and married the mother, Jean Montgomery, there two years later. Four more children were then baptised in Kildrummy.

John died in 1876 age 74 and was buried in Kildrummy churchyard.
