My father collected about 50 postcards from the places he visited in Canada.
Only those on the outward journey were posted home. Another four from Vancouver had writing on the back but were not posted separately.

	postmark: MONTREAL Jun 4 19 Arrived Montreal this morning. Train leaves tonight so am having a good look round. Just going for a long car ride now round the city, also touching Sherbrooke. Its intensely hot. Am quite well. B
	postmark: MOOSE JAW SASK Jun 8 19 Sat: One of the places we stayed at. Magnificent scenery. Am quite well. B [Saturday June 7th]
	postmark: MEDICINE HAT CPR DEPOT JUN 9 19 Reached here Sunday evening. Stayed long enough to have a look round. very pretty. Am ever so well & enjoying the trip Bert
	postmark: CAL & VAM.RPO 14 Ju --9 Mon: Stayed here for a short time. Right in the Rockies. Its magnificent. Wish you were all here. B [Monday June 2nd]

	not posted I have worked at this place for Mr Hullan. The arrow indicates Burrard St & is just a few steps from 544. Wesley church is on the opposite corner where the cross is. There is a very nice Church of England where the [rectangle] is
	not posted This is the best church in Vancouver in regard to looks I was there last Sunday morning & heard an American from Boston. He was very good indeed. At present they are without a regular minister. This is on Burrard St also.
	not posted Just to show how some of the streets are laid out. You see they have no front fences to the houses.
	not posted It is very nice here in the summer. I used to fish from the pier you see there. The arch is built of various signed trees all with the bark on. Deer & wild goats are kept in the meadow to the right. A little way back there are some lovely gardens & lakes, also a small zoo. Note the snow on the mountains. The place is 20 minutes from where I live.
