Mr Wiggins log house. Very small but cosy
[the newspaper cutting below gives the address as 1536 East 35th Avenue, but a visitng card of Mrs Wiggins after George's daeth gave the number as 1560 and when she died in 1934 her address was 1780 East 35th Avenue "where she had lived for 26 years". It seems likely that the road was renuumbered at least twice]
Mr & Mrs Wiggins
[at the back of the house]
Mother with Peter
[Mrs Wiggins (Rose) with their cat]
Dad with Peter
[Mr Wiggins with their cat]
Georgie with his two kittens
[is he Mr Wiggins grandson?]
Joe
[Joe Rowlatt and my father outside the house]
Mrs Wiggins took this. Its Joes car & we are standing outside their house [Joe is Joe Rowlatt] Mrs Wiggins. I took this. Sun a bit too strong. You will see the car is a Ford touring.
[Outside the house. The lady with Joe Rowlatt does not look like his bride Miss Leland. Perhaps his mother?] [newspaper cutting kept with the photos]
These children assembled outside the house & after the wedding made as much noise as they could on cans etc. [Mr Wiggins in smart suit, perhaps for the wedding?]
In Wiggins yard. I have nothing in my mouth, it is a spot on the film. Joe took this & the fault is that the camera is facing the sun. I wanted to give you an idea how tall & luxuriant the raspberry canesgrow in Wiggins garden in fact anywhere out here. The canes are at my back, & are covered in fruit. They form a hedge all round the garden A little overexposed. The film I mean of course. Have sent [---] one of these
