Philip died in 1692 and is believed to have married in 1665 so a birth date around 1640 is expected. His will signed in Jan 1684/5 mentions a brother Roger Hempson and a sister Rebecca Bromwell.
The will of Roger Hempson of Brightlingsea signed in Nov 1669 mentions his sons Roger and Philip and a daughter Rebecca Brunell. Allowing for the different spellings of Bromwell/Brunell, this will proves that Philip Hempson was the son of Roger Hempson-of Brightlingsea
Brightlingsea is some 10 miles from Ramsey, and may be birth place of Philip, though in the discussion of Roger-12, it is suggested that Philip may have been born in nearby Great Clacton
Philip and Anne Hempson-baptised 5 children at Ramsey between 1675 and 1683 and had a son named Philip born c1667 Assuming this was their first son, a marriage around 1665 is expected, giving a child bearing span of 18 years. No such marriage has been found in the various marriage indexes.

The parish register of Ramsey survives from 1647 but the baptisms of Philip and Mary are not found there, so presumably the family moved to Rramsey c1673 probably from Brightlingsea
Philip's will was proved in 1692 and there is a suitable burial in Ramsey followed by the burial of his wife Anne
