Robert died in 1675 aged 68 giving a birth date of 1607. There is a suitable baptism at Steeple Aston:
C 6Sep1607 Robert George son of John & Elizabeth George
Robert died in 1675 and his will mentions his eldest son Robert and his wife (living) and younger children (unnamed). Four baptisms are known at Steeple Aston in three of which his wife is named as Isabel. The earliest was in 1645, but two other children were probably born earlier.
It is concluded that Robert married Isabel about 1640 but no record of the marriage has been found.

In his will, Robert named his eldest son as Robert, and in his 1662 will, Michael George of Steeple Aston makes bequests to three children of Robert: Robert, Elizabeth and Mary (see Robert-11). The baptisms of Robert and Mary have not been found, but as Robert was the eldest son, he was probably born about 1640, and Mary perhaps 1642
Robert-9 was known as Robert the younger in 1674 but not in 1676. This implies his father died between these dates and there is a suitable burial at Steeple Aston, followed by that of his wife:
