[1] no suitable C of Martin found, but assumed to be son of John & Faith because of daughter named Faith, hence also his father John is assumed to be the son of Martin C1613, because of his son named Martin
[2] from baptismal records, the father of Jane, Richard and John, was John, but it is not known whether the parents were John & Faith as shown, or John & Sarah
[3] Martin & Mary (nee PEARCE) and Martin & Mary (nee CRANKAN) baptised 15 children between them between 1732 and 1749, but the register refers only to Martin & Mary. As it is not possible to be certain which child belongs to which parent, all 15 children are listed in one line with links from both sets of parents.
