looking for the origin of Thomas SMITHER who baptised children from 1679 to 1701 at Worplesdon and died in 1708

 

[1]  if this were the Worplesdon Thomas, he would have been baptising children from ages 43 to 65; age 72 at death

[2]  if this were the Worplesdon Thomas, he would have been baptising children from ages 15y8m to 38; age 45 at death

 

both are just possible but not convincing, though Thomas of Worplesdon named two of his elder children William and Ann – after his father and mother [2] ?
